What is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU)?

ChFC, CLU designation holder is a financial professional who meets the requirements established by The American College of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. The Chartered Life Underwriter designation is one of the oldest in the financial services industry; it was founded in 1927.

What are the requirements to obtain a ChFC and CLU?

Once appointed, a ChFC, CLU must meet continuing education requirements in order to maintain their certification.

How is RL Bebo Financial Services Compensated?

Typically, our financial professionals earn their living either from charging hourly or flat rates for their services. We also use a combination fee-and-commission structure: you pay a fee for the development of a financial plan or for other consulting services we provide. We  also receive commissions from certain products we may use in your plan implementation. A commission is a fee paid to us, when someone buys or sells a stock, bond, CD or other investment. It also is paid when someone buys insurance (such as long-term care, disability, life, or health insurance) or annuities. We do not charge for the initial consultation.
